… non-swimmers and beginners get a gentle introduction to swimming in FRED’S SWIM ACADEMY. With professional instructors, you’ll improve your technique while your kids enjoy a wide range of courses designed just for them.

Baby and toddler swimming

Monday to Friday at 10 a.m.

1 session: €20.00 per child

This baby and toddler swimming course is designed for children from 4 months up to 4 years old. The focus is on playful learning of the frog kick, as well as breathing, diving, and balance exercises. Overall motor skills and coordination are also trained. One parent accompanies the baby or toddler to gently introduce them to the water and the prone position.

  • Small group of parents, babies, and instructor
  • Session: 30 minutes
  • “Swimtrainer Classic” baby swim aids in red are provided
  • Neoprene swimming trunks or suit available upon request
Beginner swim course

Monday to Friday at 10.40 a.m.

1 session: €30.00 per child

Private lesson: €60.00 per child

This swimming course is aimed at children aged 4 and up. Kids learn the technically correct breaststroke movement, good arm-leg coordination, and proper breathing. It also includes first diving exercises. The transition to independent swimming is smooth, helping the children build endurance.

  • Small groups (4-6 children) without an accompanying parent
  • Session: 50 minutes
  • “Swimtrainer Classic” children’s swim aids in orange and yellow are provided and can also be purchased

Early Swimmer Seepferdchen Badge

Please book appointments directly at the kids’ club.

€20.00 per badge

Your children can earn the Early Swimmer Seepferdchen Badge right here at our Familienresort Buchau. The requirements for the badge are:

  • Jumping into the pool from the edge and then swimming 25 metres
  • Retrieving an object with their hands from shoulder-deep water
