Your holidays with childcare in Austria

Babies are the stars at Familienresort Buchau: Our dedicated baby care area, complete with a ball pool and quiet nap room, is specially designed for your little ones (up to 2 years old). It’s a calm and peaceful space, as older kids show consideration – creating a wonderful sense of community. Our loving caregivers look after babies daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., giving your little ones up to 11 hours of pure fun! Toddlers can zoom around the play area on bobby cars, and in the FRED’S SWIM ACADEMY baby swim courses, your kids will learn to swim through playful activities. If you wish, we can also arrange a private babysitter on request for an additional fee.

Not just babies – older children are also cared for professionally and lovingly 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. In the creative room, kids let their imaginations run wild with crafts, painting, and baking together. They develop their manual skills and fine motor abilities while having a blast. The playroom is filled with educational games that help enhance spatial awareness and specifically stimulate the sense of touch and motor skills. Important rules to keep in mind

At Familienresort Buchau, your children are in the best of hands. To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all children and to keep things running smoothly, please keep the following in mind:

To keep your child warm outdoors, please provide appropriate clothing (hat, gloves, ski suit, sunglasses, winter boots). Apply sunscreen as needed.
Information about any last-minute programme changes due to weather or participant numbers is posted on the info board at reception.
Please understand that children who are ill are not allowed in the kids’ club.
We take photos during programme activities and share them online. We respect that some parents may prefer not to have their children photographed. If this applies to you, please inform the kids’ club staff or mark the relevant option on your Child’s Pass.
At lunch and dinner, your children can enjoy supervised meals together with other kids at the kids’ table.

What is the Child’s Pass?

When you check in, you’ll receive a Child’s Pass for your little one. Please fill it out and hand it back to us, as it contains important information for our childcare team. The pass is required for all children aged 0 to 12 who are in the kids’ club without their parents. It applies to the full childcare programme for children aged 3 and up, as well as all activities in the kids’ club.

If your child has any special needs or disabilities, please let us know in the Child’s Pass so that we can provide the best possible care at our all-inclusive resort with childcare.

The ski school and kids’ club

Straight from the kids’ club to ski school: We’re happy to take your child to their scheduled ski lesson – and pick them up afterward if needed. That way, you get to enjoy some well-earned time to yourself.

Important: Please note in your child’s activity pass what time and where their ski course is taking place. If your child is to return to the kids’ club after their lesson, make sure to hand in the completed activity pass (including course location and duration) between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the kids’ club. We can only collect children from ski school if we have this information in advance.

Our hotel’s shuttle service brings young skiers safely back from the slopes. For details and to register, please speak to reception.
