At the Buchau family resort on Lake Achensee, one thing takes center stage: relaxing vacations for the whole family. For many families, this includes their four-legged companion. That’s why we’ve created a well-thought-out vacation concept where families with dogs feel just as at home as guests who prefer to enjoy a dog-free vacation.
Our dog-friendly rooms are located in separate annexes. This way, dog owners can enjoy a relaxing vacation with their four-legged friends, while the main building remains dog-free and offers a peaceful atmosphere for all guests.
With our new rooms, we’re creating even more space for families who want to spend their vacation with their dog. In total, there will be four spacious family rooms with balconies:
one family room for 2 adults and 1 childtwo family rooms for 2 adults and up to 3 childrenone family suite for 2 adults and up to 4 children with its own infrared cabin

To ensure that all guests feel completely at home at the Buchau Family Resort, we have listed all service highlights for you. To ensure that all guests feel completely at home, dogs are welcome only in the designated rooms and selected outdoor areas.
Out of consideration for our younger guests and to maintain hygiene standards, dogs are not permitted in the following areas:<br/>Restaurant and buffet areas, swimming pool and bathing areas, wellness area, kids’ club, and playground.
